Primary $1,000,000 Liability Coverage
Primary auto liability insurance has two components always included together: bodily injury liability insurance and property damage liability insurance. Primary auto liability insurance is the basic insurance coverage that covers injuries or damage to other people or property if you’re at fault for an accident. In today’s hard market RMGA has positioned itself to provide great coverage at responsible prices.
Auto Physical Damage Coverage
Physical Damage is a general term for a group of insurance coverages that protect your vehicle. This general term includes collision insurance, as well as your choice of comprehensive insurance or the more limited fire and theft with combined additional coverage (CAC) insurance. RMGA has competitive markets that keep your clients best interest at heart. Supplemental towing limits, and possible loss of use are common coverage supplements that can be included in our APD coverage forms. Please contact our underwriters for more details in any of our carriers policy forms.
Motor Truck Cargo Liability
Motor Truck Cargo Legal Liability Insurance, more commonly referred to as Cargo Insurance covers losses or damage to the commodities the trucker is hauling while they are being transported. Carriers are responsible for the cargo they control while it is in their possession. While operating under a Bill of Lading, beginning at the point at which the cargo is taken into their possession until when it reaches its destination and is signed for, it is the Carriers responsibility to take every possible step to insure the safety of the cargo. Additional limited supplemental coverage such as earned freight and clean up are typically included in all our policy forms. Please contact our underwriters for more details in any of our carrier policy forms.
Commercial Truck Insurance General Liability Coverage
A growing number of risk managers require for-hire truckers to have Motor Truck General Liability insurance. It pays for injuries or property damage you cause as a result of business activities not directly related to operating your truck. Typical limits of liability include up to but not limited to $1,000,000 for any one occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate limit amount. Please contact our underwriters for more details in any of our carrier policy forms.
Non- Trucking Liability
Non-Trucking Liability, is insurance coverage for when you use your truck for non-business purposes. NTL offers you liability coverage for property damage or bodily injury to a third party. NTL is in most cases, required by the motor carrier with whom the owner/operator has signed a lease agreement. This insurance fills a potential gap for non-business use of the equipment, and helps to protect the motor carriers’ primary liability policy. Non-Trucking is not the same as bobtail insurance, so please verify with your motor carrier which coverage they require, in almost all cases, NTL will be the requirement. Please contact our underwriters for more details in any of our carrier policy forms.
